A downloadable game

The year is XXXX. Humanity now shares the burden of the JyaQ, a mysterious race of monsters that thrive off conflict.

We are Runners, a band of masked individuals. We were normal once, before all of this. Now we’re forced to play.

If we die, there’s no time to mourn or grieve. There’s no crying in baseball, after all.

Super Yakyu Taisen (スーパー野球大戦, or "Super Baseball Wars" in English) is a tokusatsu-inspired TTRPG about teams of Runners, ordinary folks turned into armored warriors, playing baseball against one another while fighting off the JyaQ, a mysterious race of monsters obsessed with baseball.

Features:

  • Make your own baseball squadron! Create toku-inspired teams fast by coming up with each Runner's name, team name, and motifs to stand out from the rest!
  • Survive until the end! Using the Breathless game system, Runners will have to fight and play in a system that increases tension and decreases the power of their skills and tools! It's a non-stop fight to for the right to play another game!
  • Trinkets available at your local toy store! Scavenge the field for trinkets, little devices that allow you to change your forms, and use them in place of skills for an advantage! You can even use the other team's trinkets if you're lucky enough!
  • Baseball for the fate of the world! Super Yakyu Taisen comes with an easy-to-follow ruleset on how to play baseball! It's a game about it, after all.
  • Stand up for your beliefs! By GRANDSTANDING, you can debate against anyone and anything that seeks to crush your ideals! If you manage prove them wrong, you succeed in any action you were attempting with no penalty!

Let's play ball!!

Made for the Breathless 2 Jam!
